EMBRACE FOUNDATION FOUNDERS
Yury and Irene Gampel
Yury and Irene Gampel were born in Soviet Ukraine and immigrated to the US at ages 7 and 12, respectively. Ever since they were little, they looked for ways of spreading kindness and helping people, and continued doing so. |
Leah, Brianna & Yael
Their oldest daughters, Leah and Brianna, attend classes at the University of Massachusetts and University of Miami, respectively. Brianna is heavily involved in a Miami charity, Silent Victims of Crime that helps children of incarcerated parents become leaders in their community. Yael, senior at Calabasas High, volunteers at local shelters and the family’s charitable foundation. |

The mission of Good Shepherd Center for Homeless Women and Children is to empower women and their children to move from homelessness to self sufficiency, through housing, employment, and support services offered with dignity and love.. |
